Commenting on the Nobel Peace Prize Awards has become a nice anual tradition. After my comment on the Tunisian Dialogue Quartett in2015 and the Colombian Peace Process, together with Josefina Echavarría Alvarez in 2017, I wrote about the Award International Campaign to Abbolish Nuclear Weapons together with my colleague  Martin Senn this year.

The 2017 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Wea­pons. On this occasion my colleague Martin Senn and I have written a guest article in the Austrian newspaper Tiroler Tageszeitung about the challenges related to nuclear arms control and disarmament, foucsing on the current crises between the United States and Russia, as well as the North Korean case in particular.
