  • Anlässlich der Eröffnung des neu gegründeten Forschungszentrums „Frieden und Konflikt“ an der Universität Innsbruck war eine Delegation der Innsbrucker Partneruniversität Haramaya, der zweiältesten Universität Äthiopiens zu Besuch in Innsbruck. Die erfolgreiche Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und der offene Austausch standen im Zentrum des Besuchs beim Land Tirol.

  • It has been a real pleasure to work for the Many Peaces Magazine Volume 8 as Editor in Chief. This Volume on the topic of „Violence and Peace Work“will be presented in the Wagner’sche Bookstore in Innsbruck, on June 30th, 2018 at 18:00.

  • On January 12th the Master of Arts Program in Peace, Development, Security and International Conflict Transformation at the University of Innsbruck celebrated the graduation of current students and the arrival of new students at the Grillhof Seminar Center in Vill. Radio Freirad’s KulturTon joined the opening ceremony and explores this extraordinary MA program.

  • In January 2018 we welcomed our new project partners from Haramya University, Ethiopia for the kickoff meeting of an exciting new partnership with our colleagues from Haramaya University, Ethiopia. 

  • Very much looking forward to holding #ManyPeacesMagzine Vol. 7 in hands, with wonderful contributions on the topic of „Peace Education“ by Manon Roeleveld, Alexa Cuello, Fata Morgana, Clara Cornflake, Lisi Wilgermein, Wolfgang Dietrich, Oliver Rizzi Carlson, Hilary Cremin, Julian Mandler, Sezan Eyrich, Tilly Sünkel, Veronika Franzi, Aylin Vartanyan Dilaver, Luís Bravo de Barros, Putri Kitnas…

  • Commenting on the Nobel Peace Prize Awards has become a nice anual tradition. After my comment on the Tunisian Dialogue Quartett in2015 and the Colombian Peace Process, together with Josefina Echavarría Alvarez in 2017, I wrote about the Award International Campaign to Abbolish Nuclear Weapons together with my colleague  Martin Senn this year.
