Adham Hamed is a peace and conflict researcher, political scientist and mediator, with affiliations to the Austrian Centre for Peace and the University of Vienna. Previously he has served as a diplomat at the German Foreign Office. His current research focuses on German foreign policy in the Middle East, peace processes and multi-track peace mediation.

Establish­ment of Peace and Conflict Studies for Re­con­cilia­tion in Iraq

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) funded project Education for Peace in the Iraqi Higher Education System is implemented by the Iraqi Alamal Association and the Unit for Peace and Conflict Studies (University of Innsbruck) in collaboration with the Iraqi Ministry for Higher Education and Scientific Research and nine Iraqi universities.
